
He estado solucionando un problema de wifi durante días y quería ver si hay alguna sugerencia de la comunidad.
Tengo un Thinkpad X1 más nuevo con Xubuntu 21.10 instalado. Todo ha estado funcionando como se esperaba y a principios de esta semana ya no pude conectarme a Internet. Todavía puedo conectarme perfectamente a otros servidores/máquinas dentro de mi red. También probé 3 redes diferentes: 1 inalámbrica (enrutador Starlink), 1 inalámbrica (punto de acceso LTE), 1 dongle ethernet/usb (enrutador DSL) y ninguna de ellas puede conectarse al exterior, por lo que creo que lo más probable es que el problema esté relacionado con la computadora portátil, no los enrutadores.

Al momento de escribir esto (abril de 2022), la tarjeta AX201 funciona en Ubuntu Server 20.04.4 LTS usando el kernel HWE 5.13.0-40-lowlatency.

Puede intentar deshabilitar SecureBoot en la configuración de su BIOS/UEFI. Los controladores no siempre funcionan bien con SecureBoot.
La otra cosa que puedes intentar es desactivar el ahorro de energía:
sudo sed -i 's/3/2/' /etc/NetworkManager/conf.d/*
y luego
sudo systemctl restart NetworkManager.service
