Vengo de ejecutar Linux y normalmente hay un video o algunas configuraciones de ACPI que controlarán el brillo de la pantalla, pero en FreeBSD no parece haber nada como esto, por lo que mi monitor está constantemente al 100% de brillo. ¿No debería haber alguna forma de atenuar el brillo a través de la interfaz acpi?

Tuve problemas con el brillo en Dell L702X con Nvidia GT550M. Puedes ver lo que he encontrado eneste hilo (enlace). Quizás algunas de esas cosas funcionen para ti.

No pude usar xbacklight(1)(o activar las teclas de control de brillo) pero encontré un par de otras formas de cambiar el brillo:

  • xrandr(1)

Gracias aesta publicación (enlace)Pude cambiar el brillo del monitor externo usando xrandr. El comando se ve así:

    xrandr --output HDMI-0 --brightness 0.9

El valor predeterminado parece ser 1.

  • redshift(1)

    Redshift es un software que le permite cambiar la temperatura de su pantalla. Tiene -bopciones -ty -gopciones que pueden resultar útiles (consulte man redshiftpara obtener más detalles).
