Estaba ejecutando mce intenté instalar curl y postfix en el shell apt-get install curl postfix:. Apareció un cuadro de diálogo de configuración para postfix y después de presionar Ctrl-o (Alternar mostrar/ocultar MC) dos veces ya no pude leer el mensaje de configuración, así que salí de MC con F10. El proceso apt-get todavía existía y lo eliminé con sudo kill xxxx. Ahora apt-get no funciona.

y otras soluciones presentadas en varias preguntas (Q1,Q2,Q3): apt-get purge postfix, apt-get --reinstall install postfix, dpkg --pending --configure.
Una pregunta realmente similar (¿duplicada?) esError en postfijo, pero no tiene respuesta.
¿Cómo puedo arreglar el administrador de paquetes? Mi sistema operativo es Debian Jessie.

La eliminación manual de archivos de configuración funcionó:
rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/postfix.*
apt-get purge postfix
