Intenté instalar muchas aplicaciones a través de la terminal y todo lo que obtengo son errores. Cuando escribo:
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-software-center
todo lo que consigo es
alex@alex-NV55C:~$ sudo apt-get install ubuntu-software-center

E: Unable to locate package ubuntu-software-center
También intenté instalar Wine y luego entré por terminal.
sudo apt-get install wine
yo obtengo
alex@alex-NV55C:~$ sudo apt-get install wine

Intente eliminar el centro de software existente y luego instálelo usando los siguientes comandos,
sudo apt-get remove software-center
sudo apt-get install software-center
