He comprado un dongle USB inalámbrico dlink dwa-131. Pero no puedo mencionarlo. Leí en la lista de hardware compatible que esto es plug and play en Ubuntu.
yo vi elprocedimiento de solución de problemas inalámbricosy obtuve los registros. He pegado debajo del registro. También veo dlink listado en lsusb. Pero no se ve en el registro siguiente. El chipset Intel pro integrado no funciona. Por eso traje este dongle.
No pude pegar el registro porque hubo un error que indica que necesito 10 reputación para publicar más de 2 enlaces. Por eso eliminé los enlaces del registro.

Mi dongle Wifi D-link tiene las siguientes especificaciones:
- Adaptador nano USB inalámbrico N300 de D-Link
- Número de modelo: DWA-131
- Versión hardware: E1
- Versión F/W: 5.00
Esto es lo que hice, después de estar buscando en Internet durante mucho tiempo:
1) Ir ahttp://support.dlink.com.au/Download/download.aspx?product=DWA-131y descargue el archivo "DWA-131 Linux driver v4.3.1.1.zip (5,88 MB)" en la sección "REV E" (en la parte superior de la página). 2) Mueva el archivo a un directorio de su elección, extráigalo y cámbielo al directorio que acaba de extraer. Este es (en el directorio que elegiste):
- tar -zxvf 20140812_rtl8192EU_linux_v4.3.1.1_11320.tar.gz
- disco compacto 20140812_rtl8192EU_linux_v4.3.1.1_11320/
3) Ingrese los siguientes comandos:
- hacer
- su (se solicitará su contraseña)
- hacer instalar
Ni siquiera necesitas reiniciar tu computadora. En mi caso funcionó al instante.

¿Has intentado presionar el botón a la izquierda del botón de encendido para ver si habilita wifi? Es el número 2 en la imagen. Si funciona según lo diseñado, al menos debería alternar el bloque duro enrfkill list all
