Tengo una carpeta cifrada con encfs y simplemente corté el contenido de una subcarpeta y lo pegué en otra carpeta fuera de la carpeta cifrada con encfs. Mientras hacía eso, recibí un mensaje de error que decía que no se podía eliminar una subcarpeta porque no está vacía.
La cuestión es que cada archivoeraLo pegué en la nueva carpeta y no quedó ningún archivo en la anterior, que verifiqué ls -ll -aen la subcarpeta:

No sé qué información total 8se supone que me debe dar aquí. Si lo intento sudo ls -ll -adice que no tengo permiso para hacerlo.
Básicamente ocurre lo mismo con rm. Si lo hago rm -rf foldername, dice que la carpeta no está vacía. Si lo hago sudo rm -rf foldername, dice que no tengo permiso para hacerlo.

La carpeta es probablemente el punto de montaje de su volumen cifrado. Escriba mountuna terminal y vea si la unidad criptográfica (aunque vacía) todavía está montada en esta carpeta. Puede utilizarlo sudo umount /path/to/folderpara desmontarlo ("apagar el sistema de cifrado", por así decirlo). Debería poder eliminar la carpeta una vez que ya no sea un punto de montaje activo.
