비디오 파일을 호스팅하는 컴퓨터(서버)에 원하는 웹 서버를 설치합니다.

비디오 파일을 웹 디렉토리(보통 /var/www)에 넣거나 거기에 심볼릭 링크를 겁니다.
비디오를 재생해야 하는 컴퓨터(클라이언트)에서 다음을 실행합니다.

또는 시작 vlc하고 파일을 열도록 지시할 수 있습니다 http://server/something.avi.
