Não consegui instalar o subversion no Ubuntu 14.04. Estou recebendo a mensagem de erro abaixo:
$ sudo apt-get install subversion

Uma causa possível é que você não possui as versões mais recentes de alguns pacotes. Você deve tentar atualizar primeiro executando isto:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get install subversion
