Só estou tentando fazer minha conexão Ethernet funcionar no Oneiric, e quando conecto o cabo ele conecta e desconecta para sempre. /var/syslog diz isso (repete várias vezes):

A mesma coisa acontece quando tento servir o compartilhamento ad hoc de Internet sem fio no Ubuntu11.10
sudo killall dnsmasqfinalmente ajudou.

Diagnostique o driver clicando no ícone LAN, abra Compartilhamento de Rede, clique em Conexões de Área Local, Diagnosticar.
Foi resolvido para mim. Isso redefinirá o adaptador LAN, para que funcione normalmente.
