Wifi não funciona no Ubuntu 14.04 de repente

Meu wifi não está detectando nenhuma conexão wifi, embora elas estejam presentes.

Assim que eu inicio a notificação de rede desconectada do sistema, aparece. Mas às vezes funciona e é bastante estranho.

Além disso, não há opção para ativar o Wi-Fi nas opções de Wi-Fi, como para ativar a rede.
