Eu encontrei uma solução.
Você precisa procurar um .hexarquivo de uma instalação do Windows, encontrei o meu em C:\Windows\System32\drivers\BCM43142A0_001.001.011.0197.0231.hex; encontre aquele que começa comBCM43142A0.
Então você precisa convertê-lo para o formato hcd. Você pode encontrar a ferramenta emhttps://github.com/jessesung/hex2hcd.

cd hex2hcd
make
hex2hcd <input_file>.hex fw-xxxx_yyyy.hcd
Insted de fw-xxxx_yyyy.hcdvocê deve usar BCM43142A0-0a5c-21d7.hcd.
Em seguida, copie o arquivo hcd gerado para /lib/firmware/brcm/ e reinicie.
Isso deve resolver o problema.
