Eu queria jogar League of Legends, então instalei com sucesso o PlayOnLinux e o próprio LoL. Eu tinha FPS MUITO baixo (cerca de 10, no máximo), então comecei a procurar uma resposta para isso. A única coisa que pude deduzir que faltava para mais FPS era um driver nvidia mais recente, então tentei instalar a versão 331 (atualmente estava usando 304).
Eu fiz isso no terminal:
sudo apt-get install nvidia-331 nvidia-331-updates
A instalação do driver 331 não foi bem-sucedida, obtive o loop de login da tela preta, que consertei reiniciando no modo de recuperação e, em seguida, limpando os drivers da nvidia e reinstalando o 304 novamente. Recebo uma mensagem de erro informando que '/etc/vdpau_wrapper.cfg' não pôde ser substituído e libvdpau1_1.1 forneceu um código de erro (1)
Tentei remover os dois arquivos do terminal usando o comando 'rm' e tentei corrigi-lo novamente com
sudo apt-get install -f
com os mesmos resultados:

Após o comando -f, recebi o mesmo erro acima. Além disso, recebo o aviso 'Erro: BrokenCount> 0'.
Ao tentar usar o Ubuntu Software Center, ele dizia que não consigo instalar ou atualizar porque meu sistema está quebrado, junto com esta mensagem: 'O novo software não pode ser instalado porque há um problema com o software atualmente instalado. Existem algumas armas eficazes, como
sudo dpkg --remove --force-all libvdpau1:amd64
sudo dpkg --purge --force-all libvdpau1:amd64
mas de alguma forma inútil aqui ...
No final... a solução foi tão simples quanto
sudo rm /etc/vdpau_wrapper.cfg
seguido pela
sudo apt-get install -f
E não - você não pode instalar drivers mais recentes que 304 - eles não suportam GPU GeForce 6150 SE!
