Estou tentando executar esses comandos no terminal

sudo apt upgrade
e esses erros aparecem

Não parece ser culpa do novo ppa que você adicionou: em vez disso, parece ser um erro no arquivo do Ubuntu que você está usando. Não consegui reproduzi-lo: você pode tentar novamente? É possível que você estivesse trabalhando enquanto o arquivo estava sendo atualizado.
