Executando um servidor Digital Storm com uma Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080, e a área de trabalho trava ou congela ocasionalmente. Executamos todas as atualizações e upgrades do apt para 20.04.3 LTS, GNOME Shell 3.36.9 com kernel genérico 5.11.0-34.

Isso soasemelhante com os mesmos erros, mas é 21.04. E recentemente desativamos a hibernação, ou pelo menos pensamos que o fizemos.

Acontece que essas mensagens são uma espécie de pista falsa. Embora ainda possa haver um problema com o GDM, o verdadeiro problema é que pelo menos um dos módulos de memória está com defeito e foi isso que estava causando o congelamento. O que tornou isso ainda mais irritante foi que não conseguimos executar o Memtest86, já que um chip de memória funcional é necessário neste sistema para inicializar até mesmo em um USB/DVD!
