Erro ao instalar o MySQL-python

Erro ao instalar o MySQL-python

Estou tentando instalar um pacote Python, mas sempre recebo um erro. Procurei uma solução em diversas páginas da web, mas nenhuma delas resolveu meu problema. Não sei se estou fazendo algo errado ou talvez o problema esteja em outro lugar

$ sudo pip install MySQL-python

Você pode tentar os seguintes passos que usei para instalar o "mysql-python",

  1. Instale o python 2.7

    (base) [test@localhost ~]$ conda install python=2.7

  2. Crie o segundo ambiente (se desejar, crie diretamente o 2.7 como ambiente base)

    (base) [test@localhost ~]$ conda create -n test_mysql python=2.7

  3. Ative o ambiente criado recentemente que está instalado com python2.7

    (base) [test@localhost ~]$ conda activate test_mysql

  4. Instalarmysql-pythonnaquele ambiente

    (test_mysql) [test@localhost ~]$ conda install -c anaconda mysql-python

  5. Verifique os pacotes instalados

    (test_mysql) [test@localhost ~]$ conda list |grep -i mysql

mysql-connector-c         6.1.11               h597af5e_1    anaconda

mysql-python              1.2.5            py27h7b6447c_0    anaconda
