Quando quero limpar o cache usando javaws - viewer, esse erro ocorre. Estou tentando lançar minha arena topcoder.

Minha arena não inicia. quando tento abrir ContestAppletProd.jnlp o icedtea inicia e em 2 segundos ele desaparece, quer dizer, ele para e não inicia minha arena.
Tentei limpar o cache usando
javaws -viewer and also with javaws -XclearCache or rm -rf ~/.icedteaCache/cache .
mas nada funcionou.
O que devo fazer agora para lançar minha arena?
NB: Reinstalei o icedtea-plugin, openjdk-7-jre e jdk, mas nada funcionou.
