Eu estava tentando fazer o downgrade do PHP para 5.4 (meu site ficou incrivelmente lento após a atualização). Eu segui o primeiro passo deste guia:Como fazer downgrade do PHP de 5.5.9 para 5.4 no Ubuntu 14.04 (instalado com LAMP)
Agora estou preso por não conseguir mais instalar o PHP5 com

Como posso resolver isso?
Tentei concluir a instalação, apt-get -f installmas consegui:

Tentei reiniciar, ainda a mesma situação

O banco de dados Apt está bloqueado. Alguém está apenas tentando instalar outra coisa. Talvez seja você em outro terminal ou talvez você tenha o Synaptic Package Manager em execução. Tente encontrá-lo executando o grep em seus processos:
ps -ef | grep apt
ou
ps -ef | grep synaptic
apenas tente sair ou encerrar este aplicativo com kill -15 e tente instalar novamente.
