Acabei de instalar o Ubuntu 16.04 em um Acer Aspire S e tudo está funcionando bem, exceto o wifi. Posso me conectar a pontos de acesso abertos, mas quando autentico meu roteador WPA2 em casa, ele falha.
Isso é com um Atheros QCA6174...

Parece que ele é autenticado com sucesso, mas desautentica logo depois? Tentei substituir meu /lib/firmware/ath10k conforme mencionado emhttps://askubuntu.com/a/718430/717711mas isso fez com que meu wireless parasse de funcionar completamente, então reverti essas alterações.
Infelizmente agora estou um pouco perplexo. Ajuda apreciada!

Descobri. A autenticação WPA funciona com outros roteadores, mas não com o roteador que tenho em casa. Para ser claro...
- WPA com outros roteadores funciona.
- WPA com meu roteador doméstico funciona no Windows.
- O WPA com meu roteador doméstico funciona com outros sistemas Ubuntu.
- O único problema é com o firmware Atheros do Ubuntu e este roteador em particular.
Estranho, mas fácil de consertar. De qualquer forma, é um roteador antigo. :)
