Eu instalei a GUI de impressão digital usando:
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:fingerprint/fingerprint-gui
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install libbsapi policykit-1-fingerprint-gui fingerprint-gui
Mas também aceita autenticação de impressão digital no login (lightdm). Eu só quero isso com sudo, gksudo e su, ou seja, depois de fazer login, ele deverá aceitar impressões digitais.
Estou no Xubuntu 16.04 AMD64, atualizado. E minha máquina é um ThinkPad T410

A maneira mais fácil de desativá-lo via GUI. Pesquise usuários e marque o login por impressão digital como "desativado".
