event.h está localizado no libevent-devpacote.
apt-get install libevent-dev
Aliás, você pode usar o tmuxpacote Ubuntu?

tmux.h:30:19: erro: event.h: arquivo ou diretório inexistente
Use o apt para descobrir qual *-devpacote contém event.h.
