usando tela com start-stop-daemon, sysv

Estou tentando executar um programa com interface ncurse como um daemon usando screen. Quero usar start-stop-daemon para gerenciar o processo, mas estou tendo problemas para criar um script de inicialização SysV.

Variáveis:

NAME=rtorrent
CHDIR=/opt/$NAME
DAEMON=$NAME
DAEMON_ARGS="-d -m -S $NAME $DAEMON &> /dev/null"
USER=media
GROUP=media
PIDFILE=/var/run/$NAME.pid

Atualmente, minha função inicial é esta:

Mas isso está armazenando o sleepID do processo. É concebível que o daemon possa cair e deixar o sleepprocesso em execução

Minha função stop precisa parar ambos, então eu tenho:

O que deve funcionar (ainda não testado), mas com o problema de derrubar qualquer outro processo criado por qualquer outro usuário com $NAMEas no nome ou nos argumentos.

Acho que minha solução é fazer com que minha psfunção retorne apenas pids de nomes de processos $NAMEcriados por $USER. Uma vez que este daemon será executado sob um ID de usuário dedicado.

Não tenho certeza de como obter essa saída. ps -C $NAME -u $USER o pid=me dá uma lista para cada partida, mas quero uma lista para ambas as partidas. Caso eu decida que este usuário pode lidar com algum outro processo posteriormente.

Além disso, que tal recarregar? start-stop-daemon --stop --signal 1 --quiet --pidfile $PIDFILE --name $NAMErecarregará o screenprocesso, recarregará o daemon? Existe uma maneira melhor? Qualquer ajuda muito apreciada.

Eu precisava do mesmo para um servidor Minecraft Bedrock como um daemon, mas meupatoduckgo-funão estava conseguindo encontrar uma solução... eventualmente, embora eu tenha montado o seguinte script de inicialização.

O ponto principal a ser observado é que start-stop-deamonnão é usado para iniciar a sessão de tela, executamos screenemdaemon(desconectado) diretamente.
