Atualizei de Slackware64 13.37
para current
(bem próximo da nova versão 14.0 - kernel 3.2.29) e instalei vmplayer
5.0.0 build-812388.
A instalação vmplayer
só foi possível com a --ignore-errors
opção, como na versão anterior.
Mas, diferentemente da versão anterior (funcionando bem), quando tento reproduzir qualquer uma das minhas .vmx
imagens, sempre recebo a mensagem 'A máquina virtual está ocupada'. erro.
No diretório do cliente Windows, vmplayer
cria um lck
diretório com um .lck
arquivo de bloqueio.
Remover este arquivo não resolve o problema. Se eu não remover este arquivo e tentar executar a máquina virtual novamente, vmplayer
sai.
Ao executar a partir da linha de comando, recebo isto:

Ele reclama da falta de configurações e de um arquivo de configuração, mas está carregando os valores padrão.
Não vejo mais nada que possa me sugerir o que fazer.
Como posso resolver isso?

Como alguém apontou no fórum da VMware, é necessário instalar novamente os módulos manualmente:
vmware-modconfig --console --install-all
Isso resolve o problema.
