Quando executo o comando sudo fc-cache -rv, existem vários diretórios nos quais a linha de saída é mais ou menos assim:

O que isso significa? E como faço para corrigir isso?

Você pode ignorar a saída com segurança. Se você olhar toda a saída. você pode ver que o diretório mencionado na mensagem de erro existe mais de uma vez. Quando diz "loop", você pode interpretar isso como um significado de "duplicado".
