PROBLEMA:

Eu instalei sl, mas quando digito slna linha de comando recebo isto:

bash: sl: command not found

$apt install sl

Sl é um programa que pode exibir animações destinadas a corrigi-lo caso você digite 'sl' por engano. SL significa Locomotiva a Vapor. pacote em pacotes Debian

O que está acontecendo aqui, onde está a locomotiva, há algo que preciso configurar.......?

Se você estiver executando como root(suponho que esteja, já que executou aptdiretamente), PATHpor padrão excluirá /usr/local/gamese /usr/gamesdevido a uma condicional em /etc/profile:

if [ "`id -u`" -eq 0 ]; then
  PATH="/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin"
else
  PATH="/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/local/games:/usr/games"
fi
export PATH

slacontece que está dentro /usr/games.
