O Hyper-V não funciona, mas o VMWare funciona

Recentemente reconstruí meu servidor Hyper-V principal junto com os outros dois servidores e como toda a minha rede ainda está executando o Windows 7, decidi trocar o 2012 R2 pelo 2008 R2. Agora meus dois servidores secundários estão funcionando muito bem.

O problema está no principal. O Hyper-V não inicializará uma VM. Para ter certeza de que não havia bagunçado o BIOS, desinstalei o Hyper-V e instalei o VMWare Workstation. Não há problema com VMs. Eu realmente não quero usar o VMWare, pois todas as minhas VMs já estão no formato Hyper-V e, para ser honesto, prefiro o Hyper-V ao VMware.

Para referência, a máquina está com instalação limpa e ambas as VMs são novas. Também verifiquei minha mídia de instalação e confirmei que ela está boa.

The virtual machine could not be started because the hypervisor is not running.  The following actions may help you resolve the problem:

1) Verify that the processor of the physical computer has a supported version of hardware-assisted virtualization.

2) Verify that hardware-assisted virtualization and hardware-assisted data execution protection are enabled in the BIOS of the physical computer.  (If you edit the BIOS to enable either setting, you must turn off the power to the physical computer and then turn it back on.  Resetting the physical computer is not sufficient.)

3) If you have made changes to the Boot Configuration Data store, review these changes to ensure that the hypervisor is configured to launch automatically.

Depois de muita bagunça, acidentalmente tropecei em um chkdsk que me mostrou que eu tinha alguns setores defeituosos no meu disco rígido. Saí e comprei um novo e ele funcionou perfeitamente.
