VBA - aumento/diminuição automática do brilho da tela

O problema:

O brilho da tela do meu laptop diminui aleatoriamente e depois aumenta lentamente. Isso aconteceu desde que usei uma macro que faz o meu Formulário de Usuário aparecer e desaparecer.

Arrependi-me de ter usado essa macro e, desde então, a excluí há várias semanas.

Porém, desde aquela época, o brilho da tela do laptop liga e desliga, diminui repentinamente e aumenta lentamente de repente, sem que eu o acione.

Eu já apaguei issodesbotandomacro!

Agora, minha pergunta é: como eu poderia maximizar permanentemente o brilho da tela do laptop, que tenho 90% de certeza de que foi influenciado/impactado pelodesbotandomacro que usei há várias semanas.

O que posso fazer, escrever outro VBA para aumentar permanentemente o brilho?

Como posso consertar isso?

(RESOLVIDO, com ajuda de AppleOddity e HarryMC abaixo... Muito obrigado!!). A solução na captura de tela anexada, que consiste em verificar três coisas:

Brilho da tela ativado, precisa ser desativado (desativar)
Brilho da tela esmaecido, precisa ser definido em 100%
Brilho da tela, precisa ser definido em 100%
