estou tentando usarcertbot(Vamos criptografar) para um domínio local.

Em /etc/hostseu tenho isso.

127.0.0.1       myapp.whitebear.com

Mas quando executo certbot(Let's Encrypt) aparece esse erro.

Como posso definir o HTTPS para um host local?

Para usar certificados Let's Encrypt, seu domínio deve existir no sistema DNS. Substituições locais como /etc/hostsnão funcionarão.
