Para poder instalar o Python a partir do código-fonte sem permissão de root em um servidor Ubuntu, tive que instalar o openssl
, o que fiz usando os seguintes comandos:
wget https://www.openssl.org/source/openssl-1.1.1e.tar.gz
tar -xzvf openssl-1.1.1e.tar.gz
cd openssl-1.1.1e
./config --prefix=${HOME}/.local/openssl --openssldir=${HOME}/.local/openssl
make -j$(nproc)
make install_sw
Então eu configurei o seguinte ~/.bashrc
:
export PATH=$HOME/.local/openssl/bin:$PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$HOME/.local/openssl/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
e criou um link simbólico da nova certs
pasta para a existente (esta etapa é necessária):
ln -s /etc/ssl/certs $HOME/.local/openssl/certs
Então comecei a instalar o Python 3.7.7:
wget https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.7.7/Python-3.7.7.tgz
tar -xzvf Python-3.7.7.tgz
cd Python-3.7.7
./configure --enable-shared --enable-optimizations --with-openssl=${HOME}/.local/openssl --prefix=${HOME}/.local
make -j$(nproc)
Eu obtive:

Parece que ainda tenho problemas com certificados.

O teste falha devido a uma mudança de comportamento no OpenSSL 1.1.1e. Experimente com OpenSSL 1.1.1d por enquanto. Verhttps://bugs.python.org/issue40018Para maiores informações.
