Dispositivos USB precisam ser reconectados após a reinicialização

Dois dos meus dispositivos USB não funcionam após reiniciar o PC: o mouse e o adaptador WiFi externo.

Outros dispositivos USB, como impressora, teclado ou discos externos, funcionam bem. O mouse e o Wifi, no entanto, sempre precisam ser desconectados/reconectados - então eles funcionam conforme o esperado. Tudo também funciona bem quando removo completamente o cabo de alimentação e ligo a máquina. O desligamento normal não funciona.

Procurei e encontrei diversas sugestões, como redefinir a porta USB, para a qual usei esteconjunto usbutilitário, que funciona para o meu mouse, embora demore algum tempo (10 segundos), enquanto desconectar/conectar o cabo do mouse funciona instantaneamente.

Trocar de porta USB não faz diferença, tentei diferentes portas USB, até mesmo as antigas portas USB 2.0.

Porém, não funciona com meu adaptador WiFi. Também descobri que nem está listado durante a execuçãolsusb. Existe alguma solução que funcione para ambos os dispositivos?

Há um bug específico de Wi-Fi que foi introduzido no kernel 5.5.1.

Foi verificado que foi corrigido no kernel 5.6.2, mas foi definitivamenteNÃOcorrigido em 5.5.14.

A especulação era de que a correção chegaria ao 5.5.15, mas não vi confirmação disso.
