Recebo o que acredito ser um erro de conflito de arquivo quando tento instalar o docker/docker-ce no CentOS 8. Este também é um acompanhamento deComo instalar o docker no CentOS?
Então aqui está o que eu faço para obter o erro:
dnf config-manager --add-repo=https://download.docker.com/linux/centos/docker-ce.repo
//Check for available versions and if its the latest just install it:
dnf list docker-ce
dnf install docker-ce

Claro que vou tentar --nobest também:
sudo dnf install docker-ce --nobest

Se eu tentar--allowerasing, claro que pode funcionar... mas é seguro apagar esses arquivos runc, podman e containerd??? Funcionará depois disso? É tão estranho estar acontecendo em uma distro tão importante, mas não consigo encontrar uma resolução sólida.

Os pacotes podmane buildahentram em conflito com docker-ce. Remova-os primeiro:
yum erase podman buildah
E você pode então instalar docker-ce:
yum install docker-ce
Ou
dnf install docker-ce
