Fazendo com que o FreeBSD reconheça uma 8ª unidade SATA?

Eu tenho um TrueNAS Mini E (executando FreeBSD 11.3-RELEASE-p14), que vem pré-configurado com sete unidades: 4 3,5" para armazenamento principal, dois caches SSD e um disco de inicialização. O hardware possui mais duas portas SATA nele , então conectei uma oitava unidade, mas dmesgnão consigo fazer com que o FreeBSD reconheça a unidade camcontrol devlist.

Eu tentei diferentes cabos SATA, reinicializando (embora as unidades principais sejam hot-swappable), etc. Não tenho certeza se preciso dizer ao FreeBSD para procurar por mais unidades conectadas, ou o quê.

Parece que suas portas sata extras podem não ser habilitadas para BIOS ou suportadas pelo kernel? Não sei seu hardware. Para testar as coisas, compre algo que faça USB para SATA (como um gabinete ou um cabo temporário). Use isso para verificar se sua unidade funciona. Se a sua unidade funcionar, essas portas SATA não funcionam para você.
