verifique a diferença de arquivos com várias pastas

Gostaria de verificar quando um arquivo difere dentro de um sistema de backup usando instantâneos.

Tenho várias pastas com a mesma arquitetura dentro

E tenho que verificar um arquivo localizado dentro de cada uma dessas pastas.

Por exemplo, o objetivo é ver se .snapshot/weekly.2024-04-14_0015/my/path/to/the/file.phpdifere de Weekly.2024-04-07_0015/my/path/to/the/file.php ou de .snapshot/weekly.2024-03-31_0015/my/path/to/the/file.php, ou de .snapshot/weekly.2024-04-07_0015/my/path/to/the/file.phpetc.

Existe uma maneira simples e óbvia para isso?

PS: Existem outros arquivos/pastas que foram alterados dentro desta pasta e não posso simplesmente comparar a pasta inteira.

Parece um trabalho fácil para um shell loop. Isso deve funcionar em zsh, bash, dash…
