Estou usando AUCTeX 11.86-11no Debian estável.

O jss.styarquivo de estilo contido noArquivo zip de estilo JSSquebra a visualização do AUCTeX para mim, mesmo com um arquivo simples. NOTA: o jsslogo.jpgarquivo também é obrigatório. Por exemplo, o seguinte arquivo

dá o erro

LaTeX não encontrou imagens de visualização

O erro mais detalhado é:

Qualquer usuário AUCTeX pode

  1. confirme isso
  2. me diga qual é o problema?

Também tentarei a lista AUCTeX e atualizarei aqui se uma solução for encontrada.

Não sei se o site me permite fazer isso. Não tive problemas com a classe acima, exceto que seu logotipo deve estar no caminho do LaTeX. Se solicitado, posso excluir a resposta.

Se eu executar o Preview LaTeX com pdfTeX ou o mecanismo padrão no AUCTeX, ocorrerão os seguintes erros:

O que pelo menos confirmou alguns dos erros afirmados por Faheem Mitha. Mas assim que TeX-engine-setestiver definido como XeTeX, o Preview LaTeX compila perfeitamente sem mais erros, como mostrado abaixo na primeira saída não editada do documento.

Além disso, se o arquivo necessário *.jpg for removido do caminho do LaTeX, independentemente do mecanismo, então:

e o documento não seria compilado.

Infelizmente, os resultados que obtive não respondem à pergunta. Primeiro, porque não consegue confirmar os erros do Preview LaTeX no AUCTeX experimentados por Faheem Mitha, nem pode recriá-los, muito menos dar uma explicação dos problemas, pois não tive nenhuma. Além disso, devo chegar à conclusão de que minha resposta é muito localizada para a pergunta, já que outros membros conhecidos como Sean Allred confirmaram o problema do Preview LaTeX no AUCTeX com o jss.clse conseguiram até reproduzir alguns deles.

Faheem Mitha solicitou a não exclusão da resposta e o fornecimento de detalhes do resultado obtido.

Os arquivos foram descompactados e, consequentemente, incluídos no TDS, e posteriormente seguidos por mktexlsr. O único erro que encontrei ao compilá-lo foi sobre a falta do arquivo de logotipo, que, como afirmou a operação, é um requisito do arquivo de classe. Este pequeno incômodo foi posteriormente resolvido com a inclusão do jpglogotipo.
