Renovei meu comando para capítulo/seção...etc. Portanto, não vejo o número do capítulo no nome de todas as (sub)seções. Além disso, a questão é que quando estou em um capítulo e uso \refpara fazer referência a uma seção do capítulo atual, vejo apenas o número da seção (e não o número do capítulo anterior). Aqui estão os \renewcommandque estou usando para isso:

Mas agora quero também poder referenciar uma seção de outro capítulo e, nesse caso, quero que apareça o número do capítulo. Não consigo encontrar uma maneira de fazer isso... minha tentativa desesperada de remediar esse problema é usar isso:
\newcommand\fullref[2]{\ref{#1}.\ref{#2}}
onde os dois argumentos são o rótulo do capítulo e o rótulo da seção neste capítulo. Então, com esse comando, tenho a aparência que quero que a referência tenha, mas obviamente tenho 2 links de hipertexto. Existe alguma maneira de ter algo semelhante a isso, mas com um link exclusivo que aponta para a seção?

Presumo que isso não aconteça com frequência, caso contrário, você teria ficado com as definições hierárquicas padrão de números seccionais, incluindo capítulos desde o início. Para esse fim, defina uma nova \labelmacro, digamos \totallabel, que precede \thechapter.o rótulo existente que você pode referenciar normalmente usando \ref:

Isso usa um 'hack'
O rótulo é armazenado usando a \@currentlabelabordagem que avalia as configurações atuais da \the....macro de saída do formato do contador.
Eu o restaurei temporariamente, usei \@currentchapterlabel, forcei \@currentlabele adicionei um rótulo adicional automático prefixado com chapterfullabel::, que é escrito de forma semelhante, tudo em um grupo, de modo que nenhuma macro externa seja afetada.
A referência é feita com \fullref{labelname} que usa automaticamente a tag label. Eu não recomendo redefinir \refessas coisas.
