Título da tabela e notas que não aparecem na PNAS

Question

Estou tentando preparar um manuscrito paraPNASe estou tendo problemas com uma mesa. Como emessepergunta/resposta, a tabela é colocada após o \end{article}. Porém, ao compilar o documento, o título da tabela ainda não é mostrado, nem os \tablenotes. Eu reduzi ao siunitspacote que usei e ao removê-lo (e todos os usos de \SI) recebo o título de volta. Eu preferiria continuar usando siunits. Existe uma maneira de contornar isso ou devo iniciar um documento do Word (ok, ameaça vazia)?

Eu tentei adicionaresseresposta ao preâmbulo e alteração do arquivo de classe. Isso ajuda um pouco, pois o título/legenda é mostrado, porém o estilo é alterado e \tablenoteos s ainda não são mostrados abaixo da tabela.
