Estou criando um cartão de casamento usando LaTeX. Mas meu cartão só tem texto, assim como o cartão de casamento. É muito simples. Como posso dar uma aparência bonita a este cartão de casamento? Como posso adicionar cores e imagem de marca d'água como plano de fundo?

Conforme observado por outros, a cor é adicionada com o xcolorpacote. Pode-se usar \textcolor{red}{text}para limitar o escopo da mudança de cor ou apenas \color{red}para alterar a cor daquele ponto em diante no documento.

Você pode usar \usepackage{xcolor}e o \color{colourname}comando para as cores ou \textcolor{colourname}{text}.
Para o watermark, o backgroundpacote pode ser utilizado, possuindo algumas opções para controlar a opacidade e posição da imagem. (Usei algumas opções simples para obter um resultado rápido)
