Tikz trava com linhas verticais no gráfico - Erro: Dimensão muito grande

Tive que encurtar o código porque não caberia aqui. Estou tentando fazer 4 subtramas no Tikz. Usei Matlab e Matlab2Tikz para obter a figura em Latex. Não consigo compilar e recebo uma mensagem de erro dizendo que as dimensões são muito grandes. Em geral não consigo compilar quando tenho linhas verticais em um gráfico. Parece funcionar se eu não traçar linhas verticais nas bordas. Mas mesmo depois de fazer isso, não consigo fazer isso funcionar. Tentei usar logaxis mas não funcionou. Posso ver que a precisão numérica pode ser um problema. Existe alguma maneira de fazer upload do código inteiro (41.000 caracteres).

Isto é o que recebo depois de me livrar da maioria das opções automáticas emitidas pelo matlab2tikz: saída pgfplots

matlab2tikz é uma ótima ferramenta, mas não pode fazer milagres, sempre verifique as opções!
