Ao editar o arquivo bib, enfrentei um problema que parece estar conectado ao pacote biblatex ou ao biber ou à sua compatibilidade. Antes de fazer algumas alterações em um dos campos (acho que era um campo “tradutor”) de um dos itens da bibliografia do arquivo bib, tudo funcionou perfeitamente. Depois que essa alteração foi feita, recebi a mensagem de erro. Desfiz a alteração, mas o problema continuou voltando e afetou todos os meus documentos tex com biblatexpacote habilitado. O log possui as seguintes entradas:

Verifiquei a matriz de compatibilidade na biblatexdocumentação, segundo a qual o biber 2.5 é compatível com biblatex 3.4. E é exatamente isso que eu tenho. MWE de um arquivo tex:

Parece que o problema está resolvido. É difícil detectar o que e quando deu errado, mas aparentemente após o conflito entre o Biber e biblatexo ocorrido (embora ainda seja um mistério por que isso ocorreu em primeiro lugar), atualizar a versão do Biber de 2.4 para 2.5 não ajudou porque meu O antivírus Avast estava bloqueando o arquivo biber.exe.
