Instalei recentemente o texlive através do MacPorts e estou tentando usar o pacote acro, que usei antes, para algumas siglas. Tenho todas as siglas definidas corretamente e elas são impressas corretamente, exceto quando estão no final de uma frase. Um exemplo mínimo de trabalho está abaixo.

A partir do texto de saída, isso resulta na colocação de um ponto final antes da sigla. Alguma idéia do que está acontecendo aqui? Eu tentei desativar os trailing-tokes, mas isso também deu um erro. Por exemplo, se eu adicionar a seguinte linha de código depois que o pacote acro for carregado em meu exemplo mínimo de trabalho:
