Eu tenho um projeto que converte arquivos Markdown em PDF, usando pandocum modelo LaTeX PDF.
Estou tendo um problema estranho com as tabelas. Em poucos casos (algo como 2 em 200 documentos), a tabela é inserida após uma quebra de página. Não tenho certeza se é uma quebra de página ou não, já que basicamente tenho pouca experiência em LaTeX, mas parece que sim.

O modelo PDF que estou usando é muito semelhante aomodelo pandoc-latex, provavelmente construído em cima dele.
