Estou escrevendo uma tese, tenho um capítulo sobre Lista de Símbolos Gregos. A lista pode ser gerada com sucesso, mas descobri que a sequência dos símbolos gregos não estava correta. Aqui está o meu código:

O que gera:
Mas isso não está em ordem alfabética. Por exemplo, \Xideve ser colocado antes de \Omega. A ordem das letras maiúsculas e a ordem das letras minúsculas estão erradas. Como posso consertar isso? Muito obrigado.

Aqui está uma solução fácil: organize as letras gregas manualmente.
Pode-se adicionar um sortargumento ao \newglossaryentry{}. Numerei minhas letras gregas glossary_entries.texassim:
\newglossaryentry{gls:phi}{name={$\phi_i, \phi_n$},description={basis function, orthogonal basis functions}, sort = {b21}, type=greekstyle}
\newglossaryentry{gls:tau}{name={$\tau$},description={truncation error}, sort = {b19}, type=greekstyle}
...
E alterei o comando para imprimir glossários:
\printnoidxglossary[sort=standard, type=greekstyle]
Então obtive o pedido desejado.
