Estou tentando instalar o mcrypt em php e não consigo. Se eu fizer isso php test.php | grep mcrypt(onde test.php contém phpinfo()), nada aparecerá, então quero instalá-lo.
Se eu fizer sudo apt-get install php5-mcryptisso, recebo isto:
E: Unable to locate package php5-mcrypt
Se eu fizer sudo apt-cache search mcryptnada aparece.

Único problema: não tenho /etc/php5/conf.d/mcrypt.ini.
Alguma ideia? Eu tenho que compilar o mcrypt a partir do código-fonte para fazê-lo funcionar no Ubuntu? Estou executando o Ubuntu 13.04.
