Eu configurei um servidor Redmine que obtive do Linux pronto para uso. O correio funciona mais ou menos imediatamente. Posso enviar e-mails para qualquer pessoa que não esteja no meu domínio.
Deixe-me explicar:
Se eu executar o comando mail na linha de comando e enviar para meu email pessoal (ou qualquer outro email que não seja de domínio), ele funcionará. Se eu enviar um e-mail para alguém em meu domínio, isso não acontece. Nosso e-mail é gerenciado pelo Google e funciona. Por alguma razão, esta máquina vê o domínio e tenta lidar com ele sozinha (o que eu não quero). Eu só quero que o e-mail siga seu caminho natural para o Google (ou para onde quer que vá). Tenho a sensação de que se eu mudar o domínio da máquina para algo diferente do meu (e por mim está tudo bem), ela começará a funcionar bem. Eu tentei fazer isso, mas acho que perdi um. Qualquer ajuda seria muito apreciada!
Achei que talvez mudar o domínio pudesse enganar o postfix. Alterei o arquivo do nome do host:

Como sugeriu Tutul, adicionei a seguinte linha ao main.cf, reiniciei o postfix e tentei enviar por e-mail novamente com os mesmos resultados: E-mails para qualquer domínio diferente de humanolutionsinc.com funcionam, mas para qualquer pessoa dentro do domínio, não.

OK, de volta à estaca zero. Eu mudei /etc/host e /etc/hots para redmine (sem o domínio). Posteriormente, mudei-os novamente para redmine.hsi.com e executei:

Comparando com a minha versão, sua saída dig contémzero respostas.
Isso explica por que o postfix reclama com mensagens genéricas como
Host ou nome de domínio não encontrado. Erro no serviço de nomes para name=humansolutionsinc.com type=AAAA:Host encontrado, mas nenhum registro de dados do tipo solicitado
Primeiro, o Postfix pesquisará o registro MX; se falhar, ele retornará pesquisando o registro A (IPv4) e depois o registro AAAA (IPv6). Como o postfix não conseguiu encontrar o host de destino do seu domínio nos três registros acima, o postfix devolveu seu e-mail.
