Eu executo um servidor Ubuntu 14.04, no qual o Postgresql 9.3 está instalado. Estou vendo mensagens do kernel inundando kern.log e syslog, centenas de linhas por minuto, até que o servidor fique sem espaço livre. Não sei o que está causando isso.
No passado, resolvi isso temporariamente atualizando para o kernel mais recente e reiniciando, mas o problema logo retorna. Gostaria muito de receber alguma ajuda?

Isso aconteceu quando eu estava executando o banco de dados em uma máquina física e agora quando ele está em uma VM no ESX 5.1.
Estes são alguns detalhes sobre a VM:
Ubuntu 14.04.3, x86_64
Kernel: 3.13.0-63-generic
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2630 v3 @ 2.40GHz, 32 cores

Eu tive um problema muito semelhante com o Ubuntu 16.04 e o Postgresql 9.6
Desativar o ipv6 resolveu o problema.
echo "net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6 = 1" >> /etc/sysctl.conf
sudo sysctl -p
Comente as linhas ipv6 em /etc/hosts
# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts
#::1 localhost ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
#ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
#ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
Faça o Postgres ouvirapenasno ipv4 e substitua localhost por 127.0.0.1
Agora reinicie o postgres
sudo /etc/init.d/postgresql restart
