O NTP está funcionando ou não?

O NTP está funcionando ou não?

Não entendo a saída do ntpd.

Minha pergunta: o servidor foohost consegue obter a hora 30.251.32.1?

Aqui está minha configuração:

foohost:/var/log # cat /etc/ntp.conf
tinker panic 0
disable monitor
restrict default kod nomodify notrap nopeer noquery
restrict -6 default kod nomodify notrap nopeer noquery
restrict 127.0.0.1
restrict -6 ::1
driftfile /var/lib/ntp/drift/driftfile
broadcastdelay 0.008
server 127.127.1.0 # local clock
fudge 127.127.1.0 stratum 10
server 30.251.32.1 version 2

Reiniciar: systemctl reiniciar ntpd.service

Se a resposta do @Sirch for muito difícil de ler, você sempre poderá usarntpstat.

Por exemplo:

> ntpstat
synchronised to NTP server (185.233.106.45) at stratum 3
time correct to within 39 ms
   polling server every 1024 s

Ou ainda “mais fácil”: timedatectl status.

> timedatectl status
Local time: Fri 2018-08-24 10:35:05 CEST
Universal time: Fri 2018-08-24 08:35:05 UTC
        RTC time: Fri 2018-08-24 08:35:05
       Time zone: Europe/Berlin (CEST, +0200)
 Network time on: yes
NTP synchronized: yes
 RTC in local TZ: no

Claro que você ainda precisa saberalgunsFundamentos.

Uma maneira fácil de ver seria:

ntpq -c peers

Você verá quais servidores foram contatados, há quanto tempo e quantas vezes eles responderam nas últimas 15 tentativas.
