Encontre IP remoto para

Estou vendo paredes de toras como esta em /var/log/auth.log. A cada 2 minutos aparecem dez linhas da mesma mensagem. Gostaria de saber o IP remoto que gerou essas mensagens.

Estou executando o Ubuntu 19.10 (é minha estação de trabalho remota, apenas fazendo verificações regulares de segurança)

Tente executar tcpdumpna sua sshporta:

tcpdump -nn -s0 port 22

Se você já estiver logado ssh, exclua seu endereço IP de origem (ex.: 203.202.1.1) para não inundar seu terminal com seu próprio tráfego:

tcpdump -nn -s0 port 22 and not src 203.202.1.1 and not dst 203.202.1.1

Você também pode usar o Netfilter para registrar conexões no syslog, mas lembre-se de que uma enxurrada de conexões pode criar carga suficiente em seu servidor para que ele pare de responder, portanto, não é algo que você deseja executar sem colocar algum tipo de limite de registro nele (como mostrado) :

iptables -I INPUT -p tcp --dport 22 -m limit --limit 4/min --limit-burst 4 -j LOG --log-prefix "SSH_NOTIFY: "

Isso deixará uma mensagem no seu syslog sobre o host conectado
