As mensagens aparecem atrasadas em /var/log/messages

Estou usando rsyslogpara coletar logs de vários servidores, todos enviados para um único servidor. Percebi que às vezes os logs aparecem com atraso de 2 a 5 minutos no /var/log/messagesservidor de destino.

Ao usar tcpdumpnos servidores de origem e de destino, vi que as mensagens estão sendo enviadas do servidor de origem e recebidas no servidor de destino quase imediatamente. Porém, as mensagens aparecem com atraso no /var/log/messagesservidor de destino, e não no mesmo momento em que foram recebidas no servidor conforme tcpdump.

Qual poderia ser o problema? Por favor, avise.
