A unidade falhou ou ainda pode ser usada?

Eu tenho a seguinte unidade WD (3 TB) que me deu um problema (não consegui acessar nenhum arquivo: até mesmo um lscomando causou uma espera sem fim).

Aqui estão alguns detalhes do disco:

Após esse problema, executo alguns testes para descobrir que tipo de problema o está afetando. Como primeira etapa, executei um pequeno teste sudo smartctl -t short /dev/sdaque me mostrou o seguinte erro:

Aí tentei inspecionar no LBA_of_first_error(8467144) e, seguindo uma parte doeste guia, corro sudo sg_verify --lba=8467144 /dev/sdaobtendo a seguinte saída que confirma que há uma falha de hardware:

Como etapa final, tentei reatribuir o bloco sem sucesso sudo sg_reassign --address=8467144 /dev/sda:

Então, para resumir, perdi alguma etapa dessa investigação do disco? Minha unidade está morta ou ainda pode ser usada? Não consigo entender se há algum erro grave na lista de atributos SMART. Você pode me ajudar a entender se a unidade apresenta mais erros?
