Tenho uma mídia licenciada e posso atualizar no local do Windows Server 2019 Data Center [Desktop Experience] para o Windows Server 2022 Data Center [Desktop Experience].
Mas quando desejo fazer a atualização local do Windows Server 2019 Data Center Core para o Windows Server 2022 Data Center Core, a opção Manter arquivos, configurações e aplicativos está desativada.Como resolver esse problema?

Eu crio pergunta na Microsofthttps://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/1123512/in-place-upgrade-disable-in-windows-server-core-20mas ainda não consigo encontrar minha solução.

Eu estava tentando atualizar usando uma versão de avaliação do ISO do Windows Server disponível gratuitamente na Microsoft, mas ela não me permitia manter arquivos e configurações.
Quando usei uma ISO de edição padrão, funcionou.
A lição aqui parece ser que importa exatamente qual versão do instalador você está tentando usar.

Escolha a versão de atualização do Windows desejada com (Experiência Desktop) selecionada em vez de apenas Windows 20222 Standard. Isso resolveu esse problema para mim.
