X2GO com Ubuntu Mate 16.04 falha ao iniciar com a seguinte mensagem de erro em~/.xsession-x2go-errors

Para contornar o problema definido no ~/.profilevalor padrão do sistema para XDG_DATA_DIRSe para GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR.

export GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR=/usr/share/mate:/usr/share/mate:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/:/var/lib/snapd/desktop

export XDG_DATA_DIRS=/usr/share/mate:/usr/share/mate:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/:/var/lib/snapd/desktop

boa ideia! Eu também tive esse problema. Se você quiser que o x2go com Mate funcione para todos os usuários habilitados eu colocaria isso

export GSETTINGS_SCHEMA_DIR=/usr/share/mate:/usr/share/mate:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/:/var/lib/snapd/desktop
export XDG_DATA_DIRS=/usr/share/mate:/usr/share/mate:/usr/local/share/:/usr/share/:/var/lib/snapd/desktop

em /etc/profilevez disso. Divirta-se!

a mesma coisa no xfce4, mas não recebi a mesma mensagem de erro: mais muitas mensagens de erro como:

agora está funcionando apenas adicionando as 2 linhas da sua postagem e mudando o mate para xfce4
